This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the rules that all customers, end-users, agents and authorized personnel (“you”) must follow when using any service or asset provided by [LEGAL COMPANY NAME], doing business as AD•SCALE. The AUP supplements and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. A breach of this AUP is a material breach of the Terms.
01.Scope
The AUP applies to all use of AD•SCALE’s advertising infrastructure, managed ad account access, agency ad account access, Meta Business Manager solutions, official API and messaging solutions, consulting, support and any related deliverable (“Services”), regardless of who is operating the asset on the customer’s behalf.
02.Eligibility and Business Use
Services are intended exclusively for business use by legal entities, registered businesses, agencies and professionals. By using the Services, you represent that:
- you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and authorized to bind the business you represent;
- the business is duly registered, lawfully operating and not subject to applicable sanctions;
- the information you provide during onboarding (KYC, ownership, beneficial ownership, business model, geography of operation) is accurate, complete and up to date;
- you will use the Services solely for lawful commercial activities of that business.
03.Prohibited Content
You must not use the Services to create, host, advertise, promote, distribute or link to:
- child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes minors;
- non-consensual sexual content, sexual exploitation, human trafficking or smuggling content;
- terrorist or violent extremist content, content praising or supporting designated terrorist organizations, or content inciting violence;
- hate speech, harassment, threats, or content targeting protected groups;
- content promoting self-harm, suicide or eating disorders;
- content depicting graphic violence, gore or animal cruelty for shock value;
- deceptive deepfakes, non-consensual intimate imagery, or impersonation of real persons;
- malware, spyware, ransomware, phishing kits, credential harvesters or any malicious code;
- stolen credentials, leaked databases, payment card data, or content that facilitates identity theft;
- counterfeit goods, pirated content, or material that infringes intellectual property rights;
- content that infringes the privacy or publicity rights of any person.
04.Prohibited Conduct
You must not, and must not allow any third party to:
- use the Services in violation of any applicable law, regulation or sanctions program;
- engage in fraud, deception, scams, pyramid schemes, money laundering, or unauthorized financial activity;
- evade restrictions, enforcement decisions or bans imposed by a third-party platform, including by recreating banned assets, circumventing ad reviews, cloaking, or hiding the true destination of an ad;
- use cloaking, redirect manipulation, false landing pages, fake reviews, or misleading creatives;
- misrepresent the identity, location, ownership or business model of an advertiser;
- share, sell, sublicense, transfer or expose access to ad accounts, Business Manager assets, API tokens, or messaging assets to any party not authorized in writing by AD•SCALE;
- operate multiple accounts to evade limits, restrictions, suspensions or risk reviews;
- introduce viruses, worms, trojans or any malicious code into the Services;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any AD•SCALE system without prior written authorization;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of any Service;
- scrape, harvest or mine data from third-party platforms in violation of those platforms' terms;
- use the Services to compete with AD•SCALE or to benchmark for a competing product without consent.
05.Third-Party Platform Policies
Services often rely on third-party platforms, including Meta Platforms, Inc. and other providers. You must independently read, understand and comply with all applicable third-party policies at all times, including without limitation Meta’s Terms of Service, Advertising Standards, Community Standards, Commerce Policies, Business Tools Terms, Platform Terms, Data Processing Terms, WhatsApp Business Solution Terms and Messenger policies. Where third-party policies are stricter than this AUP, the stricter rule applies.
06.Advertising and Marketing Rules
6.1 Truthful advertising
All ads, landing pages, claims, testimonials, before-and-after content, earnings claims, health claims, financial claims and pricing must be truthful, substantiated and not misleading. Disclaimers must be clear and conspicuous.
6.2 Prohibited tactics
- no fake countdowns, fake stock counters, fake scarcity or fake reviews;
- no manipulated trust badges or fake media logos;
- no fake celebrity, doctor or government endorsements;
- no AI-generated content presented as a real person without disclosure when required by law;
- no targeting based on sensitive attributes prohibited by the platform or by law.
07.Messaging, WhatsApp and Email Rules
When using messaging or email-based capabilities, including WhatsApp Business solutions or official API messaging, you must:
- only contact recipients with a valid legal basis (consent, contract, or another lawful basis);
- honor opt-outs immediately, including STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, and platform-level opt-outs;
- comply with applicable telemarketing, anti-spam and electronic communications laws (including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL and equivalent foreign rules);
- use approved templates and adhere to platform messaging quality, frequency and content limits;
- never use messaging to send phishing, scam, fraud, malware or unauthorized financial offers.
08.Regulated and Sensitive Categories
Certain industries and content types are heavily regulated and may be restricted, require additional documentation, or be entirely prohibited on third-party platforms or under applicable law. These include, without limitation:
- financial services, crypto-assets, securities, lending, debt relief, credit repair, and binary options;
- gambling, lotteries, sweepstakes and contests;
- pharmaceuticals, supplements, weight-loss, sexual wellness, CBD and similar substances;
- tobacco, vaping, alcohol, weapons and ammunition;
- political, social-issue and election advertising;
- adult content and dating;
- multi-level marketing and biz-opp offers;
- healthcare, medical devices and health claims.
You are solely responsible for verifying that your offer is lawful in the jurisdictions you target and that you hold any required licenses, registrations or platform authorizations.
09.Security and Account Integrity
- use strong, unique credentials and enable multi-factor authentication on all assets;
- do not share login credentials, recovery codes, or session tokens by email, chat or messaging;
- promptly notify AD•SCALE of any suspected compromise, phishing attempt, unauthorized access or anomalous activity at
- do not attempt to access any asset, account, dataset or environment that has not been explicitly granted to you;
- do not export, copy or retain access tokens, cookies or session data outside the systems authorized by AD•SCALE.

10.Data Protection and Privacy
You are an independent controller for the personal data you process via the Services. You must:
- publish a compliant privacy notice on every property used with the Services;
- obtain all necessary consents for cookies, pixels, tracking and advertising IDs where required by law;
- honor data subject and consumer rights requests in line with applicable law (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other U.S. state privacy laws);
- not upload to any AD•SCALE-managed asset any sensitive personal data, health data, biometric data or government identifiers except as expressly authorized;
- not use the Services to develop or train machine learning models on personal data without a lawful basis.
11.Intellectual Property
You must hold all rights necessary to use the creatives, trademarks, logos, copy, music, images and likenesses you push through the Services. You may not use AD•SCALE’s name, marks or branding except as expressly permitted in writing. AD•SCALE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or controlled by Meta. “Meta”, “Facebook”, “Instagram”, “WhatsApp” and related marks belong to their respective owners.
12.Reporting Abuse
To report a violation of this AUP, suspected fraud, intellectual property infringement, security incident or content concern, contact [ABUSE EMAIL]. Provide as much detail and supporting evidence as possible. We investigate reports in good faith and take appropriate action.
13.Enforcement
AD•SCALE may, at any time and without prior notice, take any action it considers appropriate to enforce this AUP, including:
- issuing warnings or requesting remediation;
- removing, disabling or refusing to publish content;
- pausing or restricting campaigns;
- suspending or terminating access to ad accounts, Business Manager assets, API access or messaging assets;
- terminating the customer agreement for cause without refund;
- cooperating with third-party platforms, payment providers and law enforcement;
- pursuing any other remedy available at law or in equity.
Termination for breach of this AUP does not entitle the customer to any refund, and the customer remains liable for all amounts owed and for any damages, fines or losses caused.
14.Updates
AD•SCALE may update this AUP from time to time. The updated version takes effect upon publication on [adscaleaccounts.com]. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
